Spiral Stair Rods

Finial Options for Spiral Stair Bars

Spiral stair bars are designed to work with a wide selection of decorative finials, so you can add a finishing touch that enhances the bar’s distinctive twisted design. Classic choices such as the Sherwood, Sphere, and Bordeaux finials complement the spiral pattern with subtle, traditional forms, ideal for understated or heritage interiors. The Balladeer offers a longer, more ornate shape that pairs beautifully with the bar’s textured detail.

For something more decorative and eye-catching, you can also choose from coloured crystal finials in the Crystal range, including soft tones like Sky and Rose. These options add light-catching sparkle and a gentle hint of colour to each step, creating a staircase with real character.

Finishes for Spiral Stair Bars

Spiral stair rods come in a carefully chosen palette of finishes, allowing you to match the distinctive twisted bar to your runner and décor style. Warm metallics like brass and satin brass highlight the spiral detail with a traditional golden sheen, ideal for classic interiors and patterned stair carpets. Darker tones such as bronze and antique lend a rich, heritage-inspired feel that works beautifully with deep or neutral runners.

For a contemporary finish, cooler shades like satin nickel, polished nickel, and black enhance the clean lines of modern interiors while still emphasising the bar’s decorative twist.

Hollow Spiral Rods for Easy Installation

Spiral stair rods are supplied as hollow rods, making them lighter to handle without compromising on appearance. This construction allows for easy fitting and secure placement, maintaining a defined decorative line across each step while keeping installation simple and reliable.
