WHAT ARE CONTEMPORARY RUG RUNNERS?

Once popular with the Victorians in Britain, our collection of contemporary rug runners has been reinvented for today’s family. Also suited to commercial buildings, they’ll add a modern twist to any space, no matter how established.

WHICH WIDTHS OF RUG RUNNERS DOES RUNRUG STOCK?

Increasing from 1 foot 10 inch wide runners up to 3 foot 11 inch widths, remember to allow a few inches on either side of your favorite contemporary rug runner when purchasing. Leaving a border is the perfect place to add furniture.

HOW LONG-LASTING ARE CONTEMPORARY RUG RUNNERS?

The contemporary rug runners we sell are there to protect and complement your existing wood, vinyl, or carpeted floors. Our 100% sisal designs have an ‘ultra heavy domestic’ rating, guarding your floors against years of foot traffic and pawprints. Similarly, our 100% polypropylene alternatives are stain-resistant, moth-proof, UV fade-resistant, and bleach-cleanable, allowing customers to enjoy their rug runner for years.

WHAT BACKINGS DO CONTEMPORARY RUG RUNNERS HAVE?

You can choose from several types of backings within the contemporary rug runner collection. Reversible rug runners enable you to flip your design regularly. Gel latex backings help them remain in place on wooden, vinyl, or ceramic tiles. Woven hessian backs can be kept in place by layering a non-slip rug runner underlay underneath.

IS UNDERLAY NEEDED WITH CONTEMPORARY RUG RUNNERS?
