Melody Red 985020-339 Stair Runner

Melody Red is made for staircases that deserve more than a plain runner. Rich red tones and a dense floral trail bring a sense of heritage and warmth, without feeling fussy.

With a soft, comfortable feel and a hard-working finish, it’s a confident choice for everyday homes—especially where stairs see constant footfall.

What You Need to Know

• Traditional floral design with stylised flowers, swirling vines and an intricate border
• Red base with accents of white, grey and beige for depth and contrast
• 11mm thickness for a cushioned, comfortable step
• Heavy domestic wear rating for stairs and landings
• Stain resistant and bleach cleanable for stubborn marks
• Woven hessian backing with fully finished edges in matching yarn

Works Best In

Staircases and landings where you want colour, pattern and a more considered look—ideal for busy family hallways and period-inspired interiors.

Care

Vacuum regularly to lift dust from the pile. Spot clean spills promptly using mild detergent and warm water. For tougher stains, it is bleach cleanable. Do not machine wash. Professional cleaning is recommended annually in heavy-use areas.

Fitting

For the best finish and feel, we recommend stair fitting with a non-slip underlay and professional stapling/gripper. This helps the runner sit neatly on each tread and improves comfort underfoot.
