How Long Should A Kitchen Runner Be?

There are no rules when it comes to choosing the length of your new kitchen runner rugs. Simply choose a size that suits your space’s layout and dimensions. We can supply our refined kitchen runner designs to a custom length. However, we always recommend measuring your kitchen floor before placing an order, allowing for any door openings.

What Size Is A Standard Kitchen Runner?

We also offer various widths to suit your home’s individual requirements. Narrow or galley kitchens often suit our 66cm or 70cm widths, whereas grand kitchens can generally accommodate more generous widths of 80cm, 100cm or 120cm.

We suggest leaving 10cm at each side of the runners’ edges whilst centring them for that timeless runner aesthetic.

Can You Put Two Runners In A Kitchen?

This depends on the look you have in mind. Many customers will place one on either side of an island or breakfast bar. You can zone different areas, such as dining and cooking spaces, with different kitchen runner rug designs or match them to continue the pattern or colour throughout the space.

Do Kitchen Runners Require Underlay?
